Getting Into the Vortex guided meditations and user guide

I’ve listened to Abraham-Hicks Getting Into the Vortex General Well Being Meditation 8 times over the past month. I listen to it on a rotation with the other 3 meditations in the Getting Into the Vortex series of meditations at the start of each day. The goal of “general well being” is a fuzzy one, how did this meditation help me?

I’m a big believer in the importance of reminders. It is ridiculously easy to get caught up in your day and the next thing you know, the day is over. Work commitments, family commitments, unforeseen issues that crop up, random googling, the list goes on and on as to things that will take up your available energy for a given day. That is why its important to start the day on the right foot, and this meditation does an excellent job of that.

The Getting Into the Vortex general well being meditation reminds me of some important law of attraction points to keep in mind during my day:

“As you relax and refresh, releasing resistance as you breathe, you will discover the balancing rhythm of your Source.” – Esther Hicks channeling Abraham on Getting Into the Vortex

There is a lot of information in that one sentence! Releasing resistance has been a tricky thing for me to get a handle on . I usually notice that I am somewhat constricted feeling in my stomach. Why is this? No idea. So I breathe deeply into my lower stomach, expanding it like a big balloon, and let out a huge exhale. I instantly feel more at ease and less resistant.

“Be easy about your life and feel our appreciation for who you are, as you allow wonderful things to flow naturally to you .” – Esther Hicks channeling Abraham on Getting Into the Vortex

This conflicts with my usual mindset of having to overcome great obstacles to achieve great success. I am reminded of my friend Oliver laughing at a prominent display on my desk that read“He was willing to work as hard and as long as it took.” It was a rallying cry of mine. Oliver pointed out, and this line in the meditation reminds me, of a problem with that “inspiration”. If I am looking at that every day, and feeling inspired by it, then I am mentally creating the conditions that I need to “work as hard and as long as it takes”. While this may end up being true, I don’t want to affirm it by looking at it all throughout my day!

“Your life is supposed to feel good to you, and you are meant to feel happiness in your life and you are meant to satisfy your dreams. ” – Esther Hicks channeling Abraham on Getting Into the Vortex

This seems obvious to me reading it now, but it isn’t all the time. I am trying to complete lists of tasks, make money, achieve goals, etc., etc., and the simple reminder that I should feel good all day is one that is very important.

There are some other great instructions in this meditation reminding me of what I really am. Blogging about them wouldn’t do them justice. You’ll have to practice the meditations of Getting Into the Vortex to get the results.
