Sleep meditation is a tool to keep around in case of sleep emergencies. I have a love/hate relationship with sleep. I love to sleep. But I always have a lot of projects going on and need to be awake to get them all done.
So sometimes I find myself in bed, knowing I need to get to sleep, but instead I am awake staring at the ceiling running through my various to-do lists. This is a worst-case scenario, because I am not getting the rest I need and I am wasting time. For these situations, I use a meditation for sleep mp3.
This meditation is very straight-forward. A relaxing hum is played along with a comforting background vibration. It takes a minute or two to get used to, and once you do get used to the meditation, you won’t know it, because you’ll be passed out.
The primary benefit of a sleeping meditation is how quick you will fall asleep. The time to get to sleep is no longer a variable when you use meditation cds. I pop in the cd and I’m out in 3 minutes.
My brain does not settle down well on Sunday nights. The sleep music comes in handy. I’ve had a fun weekend of travel or partying, so I’m a little frayed. I have a huge laundry list of action items to start my week. And I’ve spent the day on the chaise watching reality tv. A meditation for sleep gets your brain focused on sleep with no effort required other than putting on headphones and hitting play on your cd player.
The meditation for sleep cd does not only put you to sleep early, it also gives you deep sleep. The doorman in my building told me about his sleep problems and I gave him the sleep meditation music to try. He now swears by it and says that he feels a lot more refreshed in the mornings thanks to the sleep meditation.
A meditation for sleeping mp3 is especially helpful if you like some sort of background or white noise to sleep, but the person you’re sleeping with doesn’t like background noise. You can put on headphones, pop in the cd, and be asleep in a few minutes.
